New extended BMW 5-Series, constructed for the Chinese market (and probably near the East market), captured while winter testing.
The given model will not be strongly to differ from the existing one. In fact, the differs touches only the extended wheelbase which is 12 inches (305mm) longer than the standard 5-Series. This means the LWB model will measure 5.04 m, which is just 30mm shorter than the previous 7-Series. The model will be equipped with a 3.0-litre V-6 and 4.4-litre V-8 turbocharged engines.
As it began known changes will concern and the car's interior. In given cut BMW plans to improve internal equipment of the car, however exact data about the planned equipment while are not present. It is said only that this newer equipment answering by all requirement of captious China.
BMW's LWB 5-Series is expected to be presented at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show in April and will go on sale later this year.
